We went skiing and snowboarding on Thursday for the whole day. We had to get up at 6:00 a.m. to get their early. It was a lot of fun, I didn't get on all of the hills because I only got one stripe.

Tonight we had our dorm dinner. It was really good. We had turkey, potatoes, vegetables, gravy, stuffing, and cheesecake and pumpkin trifles for dessert. Thursday we are going skiing, it should be fun. We have to train to get on the big hills. We are going for the whole day, we are getting up at 6:00am.

For the long weekend I was hanging out with my family. On Monday I was supposed to have dance practice. Then after dance my family would go to a restaurant called Lola's. But dance got canceled, but we still went out for lunch, with my mom, dad, sister, nana, granddad and my cousin. I haven't seen them in a long time so it was nice to see them.

Cupid, another symbol of Valentines Day, became associated with it because he was the son of Venus, the Roman god of love and beauty. Cupid often appears on Valentine cards holding a bow and arrows because he is believed to use magical arrows to inspire feelings of love.

The red rose was the favorite flower of Venus, the Roman goddess of love. Red stands for strong feelings which is why a red rose is a flower of love.

I think that animal testing is wrong and right. I think that it is wrong because people shouldn't be doing those terrible and disgusting things to any animal. Because animals might not have the same reaction to some things then humans do. But I do think it is right if it helping humans health, like cancer, drugs or medication. Or if we didn't test products and things then something bad might end up happening to people. But I still think it is not right for animals to be tortured like that.

My family came yesterday for family night. We went to Jack Astor's, I had pasta. My sister brought her boyfriend Sam. We went skiing yesterday; I got to go on all the hills except for two. I went down the hills with Simoni and Carly. I've fell a couple times but I feel a lot better but it now, I'm not as scared.

This week we have skiing on Wednesday. It should be pretty fun. In two weeks we are going to Chicopee, and they have bigger hills. Tonight we have our gym time at resident. Tonight I don't have that much homework, I just have math, reading, blog.
